摘要

The maintenance of military vehicles includes many features, such as inventory control, work orders and preventive maintenance. Modern maintenance management is supported by an advanced sensor network, which provides assistance and information for drivers, traffic control agencies and infrastructure operators. Thermal imaging and temperature measurements by infrared cameras are an essential part of this network.The service life of a military cargo truck is measured in decades and throughout its life it is expected to spend several stages in severe terrains and complex operating conditions. The core of the vehicle, eg the chassis, is often in continuous use, undergoing routine repair and re-fielding, while other components attached to the chassis have a more limited lifespan and can become damaged or worn out. These components need more frequent attention.
