Synthetic training is a vital tool in the arsenal of today's armed forces, increasing capability and capacity, while reducing costs, in a time of economic austerity. Statistics show that there is a rising awareness of the importance of this industry; indeed, global spending on military simulation, education and training reached $8.75bn in 2011 (source: Visiongain) and is looking to grow in coming years.Acknowledged as Europe's foremost forum focused on the debate, display and discussion of military simulation and training, ITEC 2012 will provide a compelling demonstration of the latest equipment, technology and services that the industry has to offer. Taking place at ExCeL, London, on 22nd-24th May 2012, ITEC will address the opportunities and threats facing the flourishing global training and simulation market in light of the evolving operational landscape.
