While many of us take it for granted, the simple pleasure of a radio broadcast can mean the world to those serving in the British Military across the globe. The invaluable boost for morale and productivity that radio and television broadcasts provide means that the utmost is done to ensure that the quality and frequency of programming is high.Forces' radio and television broadcasts are currently managed by the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), one arm of the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (which also manages live shows, cinema showings and retail outlets for service personnel), an MoD-led registered charity whose profits return straight to the forces.
