The Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) has recently undertaken a programme to increase its capability in the field of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). The new acquisition provides three additional REMUS 100 AUVs and supplies upgrades to the sonar and inertial navigation systems of the two REMUS 100s the RNLN acquired in 2005.
