The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is becoming increasingly widespread as new systems become available, providing new capabilities that can be applied to more tasks.rnUAVs are consequently considered to be an important element of the equipment agenda, performing roles from intelligence gathering to direct confrontational roles with unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs).
