摘要

At a time when experience on the ground pushes 'active' nations to better equip their dismounted soldiers, it is generally small supporting systems that seem to dictate the discussions within many after action reports (AAR). The reports would naturally consider problems with malfunctioning tactical radios, body armour limiting a soldier's mobility and, of course, more and more batteries being added to what troops hate the most: weight. When it comes to dismounted soldiers in current operations, many other sub-systems are requiring more and more attention. In this respect, military headsets are one of them. Small but very important pieces of equipment, military headsets are evolving every year and AARs are driving the industry to creatively bring new solutions to the battlefield.
