Pakistan's nuclear weapons program and its policy options become the focus of the international community because of its proportional increase to meet the parameters of its self-proclaimed and intentional nuclear ambiguity, the world-wide concerns about the security and safety of its nuclear weapons, its seeming defiance to both Non-Prolif-eration Treaty (NPT) and Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT), and its role in the Conference on Disarmament (CD).
