What Happens In The Global Strategic arena if the US reverts to a position of isolationism? In many respects, the United States has already arrived at that fork in the road, and has chosen the path toward a more lonely destiny. Many in the US may not have realized that this is the historical way-point to which their nation now marches. It has yet to notice that the court of its followers is less crowded than once it was; those followers, for the most part, less keen to fawn with loyalty. But the size of its purse, apart from any change in ideological wind, governs the course which can be charted.
