Britain's withdrawal from the European Union, an increasing Russian presence in Eastern Europe and America First rhetoric from the White House have driven some European countries, particularly in the east, to assess the state of their own security. To gauge public opinion, think tank GLOBSEC conducted surveys in March 2019 in seven EU member states: Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
