Three new species of the new genus Geotrochopsis are described: G. pubescens, G. collaris, and G. flaveolus.The genus is placed in the subtribe Clavilispinina of the tribe Thoracophorini. G. pubescens seems to be distributed allover the Neotropical region. Both G. collaris and G. flaveolus are from Peru and Brazil, respectively. Additionally, onenew species is described from the Central Amazon: Geomitopsis amazonensis. Furthermore, AshnaosoriusMAKHAN, 2008is recognised as a new synonym of Geomitopsis.
