A new annual killifish species, Nothobranchius seegersi, is described based on specimens collected in ephe-meral water bodies in theWulua River drainage system, Malagarasi River basin, central Tanzania. The new species be-longs to the N. neumanni species groupandis distinguished from N. neumanniby different male colouration and longerpredorsal length in males and females.
