The study tour is designed to introduce students to the major Romanand Renaissance monuments in Italy, with a specific focus on houses, villas and gardens. Students will engage in the active exploration ofthe art and architecture of Italy and its impact on the Renaissancethrough walking lectures, guided tours of major sites and visits tomuseums. Sites to be visited include: Rome, Ostia, Tivoli, Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Baiae. Enrollment is limited to 19students. Supplementary fees apply.
