The Department of Classics at McMaster University invitesapplications for a contractually limited appointment to run for oneyear (July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013). The successful candidate will teach 8 courses (three in term 1, threein term 2, and two in the summer of 2013), including Latin language, Greek and Roman History, and Myth. A PhD in Classics withspecialization in Ancient History is required, and a record of excellentteaching is preferred. The current minimum salary at the rank ofAssistant Professor is $66,243.00 plus benefits.
