Several described in literature crosslinkingmethods to obtain heterocyclic moieties were discussed inthis review. Selected important properties of polyamidesand their synthesis reactions were briefly presented. Theheterocyclic moieties displayed a wide range of applicationsin medicine and industry. New heterocyclic derivativesobtained by linking heterocyclic moiety to amic acidsand imides found diverse applications: as surfactants,antimicrobial agents, or corrosion inhibitors. The presentarticle describes the state-of-the art synthesis methods ofthe heterocyclic compounds and their application.
