摘要

The objective of this article is to analyze HRM in SMEs from the strategic vision of Cameroonian SME owner-managers. Using the cognitive mapping method, this study shows that human resources management occupies a predominant place in the strategic vision of the owner-managers of these companies. In fact, the most important central concepts of their cognitive map refer to paternalistic human resource management as a sine qua non condition for achieving the growth objectives of these owner-managers.
