摘要

Hydromorphological deficits are of real concern regarding the goals of theEuropean Water Framework Directive to reach a good ecological status. Theeffects of measures that change the morphological structure of a river ishard to predict. Existing methods to simulate this process in a traditionalnumerical model can not be applied to whole river systems. Using arule-based modelling concept to find feasible measures and predict theimpact of those measures is a very promising solution.
