Space weather is a new subject which has not yet become widely understood orappreciated. The University offers the unique opportunity to developknowledge and understanding about space weather that can then be applied asgraduates enter the mainstream society.

In this paper, an example of curriculum development at the IstanbulTechnical University, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics, for formaleducation related to the space environment is presented in outline. 展开▼
