In 2008, Air, Soil and Water Research was launched as openaccess, peer-reviewed international journal covering all areas ofresearch in soil, air, and water. Parallel to the development ofnew monitoring and modelling techniques, an interesting sci-entific change can be observed in the titles published in thejournal during the last 10 years related with the significance ofinteractions between air, soil, and water spheres. This trendfully agrees with the new scientific paradigm to promotingintegrated, multidisciplinary, and collaborative investigation.
