The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking capability statements from potential vendors for an unmanned ground vehicle with autonomous capabilities. An Army notice posted today states the service requires an autonomous UGV to be used for research, testing, evaluation and demonstration efforts. The UGV "needs to have off-road, weather resistance capabilities for use in a wide variety of environments" and a "high-performance computing system."
