Internal control is necessary because it allows the organization to achieve its objectives. It prevents losses of resources, determines and analyzes the causes that may cause deviations, so that they do not occur again in the future and obtains the most timely and effective information. The objective of this article is to develop a procedure for the improvement of the management of the component Supervision and Monitoring of Internal Control in a company of hydraulic services to improve the supervisions made to each area that in turn will contribute to improve the internal control of the organization. It has three phases, seven tasks and two activities. From the application of the procedure, it was identified there is a deficient development of the self-controls carried out in the areas of the organization, for which an improvement program was designed with the aim of improving the management of the supervision and monitoring of internal control in this organization.
