摘要

The method for manipulating gene regulation in Escherichia coliis well established with toggle switch model. Theoretical study of the system has been done in details with two approaches deterministic and stochastic. This paper represents the role of biochemical parameters (like rate constant of expression of repressor) to determine the nature of stability. The robustness of the system increases with the higher order cooperativity of repression of promoters which in turns help to achieve the bistability in case of weaker promoter. The sudden switching from low to high state is clearly visible with the histogram. The time dependence of the concentration of protein has studied in two approaches. Effect of noise has been observed with changing system size and corresponding noise strength has been measured.
