The traditional implementation of an E-Voting system, while being superior to the physical voting system, happens to have a potential flaw in its chain of security, particularly the hash functions being used. The system is potentially susceptible towards attacks, such as pre-image attack or collisions, which could compromise the overall integrity and security of the entire E-Voting system. In this paper, we propose a modified version of the E-Voting system, where we replace the flawed hash with a superior one. In unison, the modern hash delivers a superior performance.Full Paper
