摘要

Corrosion inhibition of C-steel in 2 N H3PO4 solution using thiosemicarbazide (TSC) and 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide (PTSC) at different concentrations was investigated by potentiodynamicpolarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques .The presence of thesecompounds in the solution decreases the double layer capacitance and increases the charge transferresistance .Potentiodynamic polarization studies were shown that the investigated compounds aremixed type inhibitors. The effect of temperature on corrosion inhibition has been studied andthermodynamic activation parameters were calculated. The inhibition was found to increase withincreasing the inhibitor concentration and decreases with rise in temperature. The adsorption of these.
