Electrocatalytic Activity of Co-based Perovskite Oxides for Oxygen Reduction and Evolution Reactions

摘要

Cathode of aqueous Li-air batter requires high electrocatalytic activities for oxygen reduction reactionand oxygen evolution reaction. Pure Co-based perovskite oxide (LaCoO3) was prepared by an auto- combustion method at a relatively low calcination temperature (640C), and La of La1SrxCoO3 waspartially substituted with Sr to enhance its electrocatalytic activities. La0.7Sr0.3CoO3 showed excellentcatalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction, and its activity for the oxygen reduction reactionwas increased with 5 wt% Pt loading. The electrochemical activity of perovskite was investigated bylinear sweep voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
