In this paper, a smart car securitysystem is proposed, which consists of a facedetection subsystem, a GPS (Global PositioningSystem) module, a GSM (Global System forMobile Communications) module and a FPGA.The face detection subsystem bases on optimizedPCA algorithm and can detect faces in cars andmake interaction with the car owner throughGSM. The GPS sends the location of the car. Evenwhen the car is lost we can get thief face image aswell as location of the car so this is most reliablecar security system. The car owner may allow newpersons also to drive the car using the password.So this car security system is more secure andcomfortable.
