Scientific institutions that apply for the funds for statutory activity are obliged to enter relevant data to the tele-information system in a systematic way. The act on funding science and normative acts that regu-late the System of Information on Science specify which data and where they need to be documented. The system also includes information on the point value of scientific publications, the authors of which come from Polish units as well as information on citations of articles from Polish scientific journals. The article presents the scope of data contained in the system, updates deadlines and the way of making them accessible.
