Non-stationarity compensation followed by stationarized signal identification using probability criterion is proposed in the paper to locate sound sources of a complex moving vehicle. The paper introduces characteristic of narrow-band random process - probability to identify signal filtered in narrow band as harmonic signal. Fragments of autocorrelation functions of reference and full-scale signals are compared in terms of static fitting criterion using functions of their values distribution. Quasiharmonic component source is spotted at the object by time coherence dependence on position of assumed source. Accuracy evaluation is done for quasiharmonic signal localization in comparison with Doppler compensation method. Keywords: noise source, tonal components, localization.
