摘要

Coupled channel equations for barrier penetration problems have been separated usingthe theory of coupled differential equations. The corresponding proper phase shifts havebeen obtained numerically using JWB approximation. The effect of magnitude of couplingstrength was studied. The Gaussian form for the coupling and diagonal potentials in threedimensional space was used to calculate the inelastic cross section for the system58Ni-58Ni in a two-state approximation.
