This retrospective study examines the methods of surgery for exercise associated urinary incontinence (EUI) in 250 pre- and postmenopausal women treated during the years 1989-1995. The patients' ages, body mass, number of deliveries and the weight of the newborns have also been analyzed to determine possible etiologic factors. EUI is associated with obesity, a higher number of deliveries, larger babies and hard physical work.
