摘要

The authors presented a case of a 16-year-old boy with multiple sclerosis. The onset was preceded by an influenza- like infection. The patient was sent to the Department of Neuroinfections with suspicion of meningoencephalomyelitis. Examinations excluded this disease but an EEG, TC and MRI demonstrated a tumor thus, the patient was transferred to the Neurosurgical Department. At the Neurosurgical Department the presence of a brain tumor was excluded and the patient was readmitted to the Neurological Department where he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
