摘要

Borers are a major menace and cause considerable damage to sugarcane in south China. Imidacloprid (IMD) is one of the most important insecticides for managing pest in sugarcane ecosystem. In our study, field experiments were conducted to evaluate the spatial, temporal distribution and control efficacy of IMD via drip irrigation. The analysis of IMD in sugarcane and soil matrices was carried out using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV) detection. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method were 0.003 and 0.01 mg/kg, respectively. The recovery rates were range from 90.28% to 97.82% and relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 7.00 %. The half-days of IMD in sugarcane and soil were 6.02 and 6.79 days. In our paper, bioconcentration factors (BCFs) of root, stem and leaf were used to evaluate the accumulation ability and the values were in an order leaf > stem > root. In addition, the distribution of IMD in soil was also studied by using the quantity ratios (QRs). IMD in soil was time dependent and could be easily transported from the top soil to the subsoil but the degradation in soil was quickly, this revealed that no potential environment risk was induced by IMD in soil. Our results also determine that it has good control effects of IMD applied via drip irrigation for controlling sugarcane borers during sugarcane production. The control efficacy was 63.55%, 83.08% and 87.92% after 15, 30 and 45 days, respectively. Therefore, IMD application by drip irrigation could be taken as safe for crop protection and environmental contamination point of view.
