Whenaphysicalactivityprofessionalisteachingamotorskill,heevaluatesthemovement'slearnerandconsiderswhichinterventionscouldbedoneatthemoment.However,manytimestheinstructordoesnothavesuchresourceswhichcouldhelphim/hertoevaluatethelearnermovement.Theskillacquisitionprocesscouldbefacilitatedifinstructorscouldhaveaninstrumentthatidentifieserrors,prioritizinginformationtobegiventothelearner.Consideringthatthespecializedliteraturepresentsalackofinformationaboutsuchtool,thepurposeofthisstudywastodevelop,andtodeterminetheobjectivityandreliabilityofaninstrumenttoassessthemovementqualityofthebasketballfreethrowshooting.Thechecklistwasdevelopedandevaluatedbybasketballexperts.Additionally,thechecklistwasusedtoassess10trials(editedvideo)fromfourindividualsindifferentlearningstages.Datawereorganizedbythecriticalerrorandtheerrorsumappointedbytheexpertsintwodifferentoccasions(oneweekinterval).Contrastingbothevaluations,andalso,contrastingdifferentexpertsassessments,insumandcriticalerror,itwasobservedanaverageerrorof16.9%.Itwasconcludedthatthechecklisttoassessthebasketballfreethrowisreliable,andcouldhelpinstructorstomakeaqualitativeanalysis.Moreover,thechecklistmayallowinstructorstomakeassumptionsonthemotorlearningprocess./font
