摘要

The quality of service is a management factor that makes the difference from the choice of the consumer to theinvestment that would be willing to make for the enjoyment of the benefits that can be chosen. The generalobjective of this study was to analyze the quality of service as a key factor and sustainable development inTourism of the Santa Cruz de Galápagos canton. The quantitative, field design, and descriptive approach wasused as methodology, and a test of thirty-three (33) dichotomous questions was taken into account as a datacollection technique. It was applied to tourists and their perception of the service was obtained. which allowedthe information and data directly from the source, in a population of fifteen (15) rural tourist accommodationestablishments in the canton of Santa Cruz on the Galapagos island. As a result, it was obtained that the ruraltourist accommodation establishments have the basic service provision. It is determined that it is important tocreate innovative mechanisms that surprise tourists with extra benefits to generate competitive advantage.
