Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation nursing intervention at early state on recovery of joint function in patients with knee joint replacement. Methods A total of 68 patients with knee joint replacement were randomly divided into the control group and observation group, with 34 cases in each group. Both groups were given routing nursing care and the rehabilitation nursing intervention was performed in the observation group. The degree of pain at 3 days after operation was evaluated, and joint function of patients was compared between two groups. Results Patients in the observation group had lower degree of pain by visual analogue scale (VAS) compared with that of controls at 3 days after operation (P<0.05). The HHS for kneejoint was higher in the observation group at discharge and 2 months after discharge compared with that of controls (P<0.01). Conclusion Rehabilitation nursing intervention can reduce postoperative pain and to promote recovery of knee joint function in patients undergoing knee replacement surgery.
