Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effects of colon dialysis and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)clyster in treatment of early and metaphase chronic renal failure, and to summarize the related nursing measures. Methods 〓Totally 60 patients with early and metaphase chronic renal failure were assigned to the treatment group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. Both two groups received comprehensive treatment and routine care, and the colon dialysis combined with TCM clyster was carried out in the treatment group. The level of serum creatinine(Scr), blood urea nitrogen(BUN)and serum uric acid(UA)were assessed before and after treatment. Results 〓The level of Scr, BUN and UA were dropped in both two groups after treatment(P0.05 or P0.01), and with a better improvement in treatment group than those in the control group(P0.01). Conclusion 〓The colon dialysis and TCM clyster shows a more available effect for patients with early and metaphase chronic renal failure.
