Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive moist healing therapy for chronic wound at grassroots level general hospital. Methods A total of 96 patients with chronic wound were assigned to the group A(n=24), group B (n=24) and group C(n=48), with  dry healing therapy, moist healing therapy and comprehensive moist healing therapy, respectively. Results There was a significant difference in wound healing condition among three groups, with  a higher Wound healing rate in group C (P＜0.05). The group C had a shorter wound healing time and less cost compared those in group A and group B (P＜0.01). The nursing satisfaction rate was 62.50% in the group A, 66.70% in the group B and 93.75% in the group C, with a significant difference (P＜0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive moist healing therapy can effectively shorten the wound healing time and reduce the cost for patients at grassroots level general hospital.
