Abstract:Objective To investigate the training and management effect on soft skills of junior nurse in certain grade II general hospital. Methods Totally 36 junior nurses in certain grade II general hospital between 2013 and 2015 were included as the training group, receiving training program on soft skills. Another 31 junior nurses recruited at same time were set as the control group, without training program on soft skills. The assessment outcomes of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and comprehensive quality of nurses, as well as satisfaction degree of patients on nurses, were compared between two groups. Results Nurses in the training group achieved a higher score of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and comprehensive quality assessment compared with those in the control group(P0.05). The satisfaction degree in the training group was higher than those of controls(P0.05). Conclusion Training and management on soft skills is an effective way of improving nursing quality of junior nurses.
