Abstract:Objective To investigate the job satisfaction of 210 nurses, and to analyze the potential influential factors. Methods A total of 210 nurses were recruited by convenient sampling method. Anonymous questionnaire was made to collect general condition and job satisfaction of all staff. Results Univariate analysis showed that degree of job satisfaction was higher in unmarried nursing workers than those married, and was higher in those without night shifts than those with night shifts (P0.05). The overall score of job satisfaction was (2.84±0.25) points, in which the work nature and workload ranked at the bottom, followed by balance of work and family, development of wage and welfare, job acceptance, management and relationship between co-workers. Conclusion Effective measures based on focusing on influential factors should be carried out to improve the job satisfaction in clinical nursing staff.
