Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effects of intrapartum fetal heart rate monitoring and to summarize the coordinated nursing measures. Methods A total of 42 puerperae were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 21 cases in each group. The control group received conventional fetal heart rate monitoring by Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, while the observation group was applied with intrapartum fetal heart rate monitoring and coordinated nursing interventions. Results There were 2 cases of fetal intrauterine distress in the control group and 3 cases in the observation, with no significant difference ((P>0.05). The incidence of asphyxia neonatorum was 4.7% in the observation group and was 9.5% in the control group, with no significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion Intrapartum fetal heart rate monitoring is an effective way of detecting fetal intrauterine distress at early stage, ensuring the safety of mother and newborns.
