The transactions of affiliated individuals have always raised many questions and been acritical concern for the users. Considering this important fact that the genuine nature ofthe transactions by affiliated individuals might be considerably different in appearance,it is highly required to assess this relationship meticulously. In some special conditions,the nature of relations and transactions with affiliated individuals might be in way thatthe risk of significant distortions in financial statements is enormously higher than thetransactions with unaffiliated individuals. The findings of the current research havedisclosed that the role of corporate governance in the Tehran Stock Exchange issignificantly weak in the context of the transactions level of corporate affiliates.
