摘要

The Triple T problems are those cases in which the upper and lower teeth do not fit, both in the anterior sector, as in the posterior sector. Its name is derived from the initials of the words tipping, tooth size and torque. Diagnosis: Male patient presents class I molar, with slight anterior crowding and ectopic canines, horizontal and vertical overbite of 1 mm. Treatment objectives: Dental alignment and leveling, midline correction achieving an adequate functional occlusion with class I molar and canine. Treatment: Fixed conventional prescription device MBT slot 0.022 '' was placed, treating the Triple T problem with a 0.017 x 0.025 '' arc of stainless steel with negative torque in the lower incisors, performing at the same time stripping and finally using elastics 3/16 4.5 oz. to achieve greater settlement.
