Thespectralstudieson20ZnO+xLi2O+(30-x)Na2O+50B2O3(5pound;xsup3;25)dopedwith0.1mol%ofparamagneticCuOimpurityarecarriedout.XRDpatternsofpowderglasssamplesconfirmtheamorphousnature.Urbachenergiesareshownthestructuralstabilityofthesystems.Theopticalbandgapenergiesvariesnon-linearlywithintherangeof3.818-4.073eVfordirectand3.770-4.024eVforindirecttransitionswiththeincreaseofLi2Ocontent.TheFT-IRspectralstudiesshowthattheglasssystemscontainBO3andBO4unitsindisorderedmanner.Thestructuralchangeshavebeenobservedwithalkalicontentsofthesystems.Itisobservedthatthesystemismorestableatx=20mol%.MixedAlkaliEffectphenomenonhasbeenexplainedintheglasshost.
