Anewmethodforanalyzingcomplexsuperhumplightcurvesforthe2001outburstofWZSagittaeisproposed.Thecomplexityarisesbecauseintrinsicallytime-varyingandnon-axisymmetricdistributionsofsuperhumplightsourcesarecoupledwiththeaspecteffectsaroundthebinaryorbitalphasebecauseofitshighorbitalinclination.Thenewmethodcandisentanglethesecomplexitiesbyseparatingthenon-axisymmetricspatialdistributioninthediskfromthetimevariationwiththesuperhumpperiod.Itmaybecalledahelicaltomographyofanaccretiondiskbecauseitcanreconstructaseriesofdiskimages(i.e.,diska€?sazimuthalstructures)atdifferentsuperhumpphases.Thepowerspectraldataofsuperhumplightcurvesofthe2001outburstofWZSgebyPattersonetal.(2002,PASP,114,721)arenowinterpretedunderanewlightbasedontheconceptofhelicaltomography,andtheazimuthalwavenumbersofvariousfrequencymodesareidentified.Inparticular,afrequencycomponent,$$nomega_0-Omega$$,where$$omega_0$$and$$Omega$$aretheorbitalfrequencyandalowfrequencyoftheapsidalprecessionoftheeccentricdisk,isunderstoodasan$$(n-1)$$-armedtravelingwaveinthedisk.Avigorousexcitationofawavecomponentof$$cos(2Theta-3omega_0t)$$inthefirstweekofthesuperhumperaofWZSge,where$$Theta$$istheazimuthalangle,supportsLubowa€?s(1991,AAA54.064.175)theoryofnon-linearwavecouplingoftheeccentricLindbladresonanceforthesuperhumpphenomenon.ThismethodcaninprinciplebeappliedtootherSUUMastarswithhighorbitalinclinationiflightcurvesarefullycoveredoverthebeatcycle.
