WehavedetectedtheemissionofmolecularhydrogenfromaclassicalTTauristar,LkH$$alpha$$264inthe$$v=1hbox{--}0$$S(1)lineat2.122$$,{mumathrm{m}}$$.Thelinevelocityiscoincidentwiththerestvelocityofthestar.ThelineprofileiswellreproducedbyamodelinwhichthelineemanatesfrommaterialinaKeplerianrotatingcircumstellardisk.FluorescencebyX-rayionizationandshockexcitationduetoaccretionoralow-velocitywindareconsideredfortheemissionmechanismofmolecularhydrogen.
