Weestimatedthephysicalconditionsofmoleculargasinthecentralmolecularzone(CMZ)oftheGalaxy,usingourCO$$J=3-2$$dataobtainedwiththeAtacamaSubmillimeterTelescopeExperiment(ASTE)inconjunctionwithJ=1a€“0$$^{12}$$COand$$^{13}$$COdatapreviouslyobservedwiththeNobeyamaRadioObservatory(NRO)45mtelescope.Thelargevelocitygradient(LVG)approximationwasemployed.Thedistributionsofgasdensity,kinetictemperature,andCOcolumndensitywerederivedasfunctionsofthepositionandthevelocityfortheentirecoverageoftheCO$$J=3-2$$data.Wefairlydeterminedthephysicalconditionsfor69%ofdatapointsintheCMZwith$$geq1hskip2ptsigma$$COdetections.ThekinetictemperaturewasfoundtoberoughlyuniformintheCMZ,whilethegasdensitywashigherinthe120pcstar-formingringthanintheouterdustlanes.Thephysicalconditionsofhigh$$J=3-2/J=1-0$$featuresarealsodiscussed.
