Wepresentnear-infraredspectraforfivedwarfnovaewithshortorbitalperiods.Weperformedfittingsofthespectralenergydistributions(SEDs)byassumingapower-lawdistributionfortheaccretiondiskandusingtemplatespectraoflate-typedwarfsforthesecondarystar.TwoareWZSgea€“orWXCet-typestars,whosespectrashowwaterabsorptionfeatures,andoneofthemshowsK$$;$$IandNa$$;$$Iabsorptionlinesinthe$$J$$-band.WefindthatthesecondarycontributionstotheoverallSEDarelargerinWZSgestarsthaninERUMastars.TheSEDfittingsuggestsM9andL1typedwarfcompanionsforourWZSgesystems,andanM2dwarfforourERUMastar.Wediscussthedirectrelationshipbetweenthehightemperaturesofsecondarystarsandhighmass-transferratesinERUMastars.SDSSJ013701.06a€“091234.9istheonlyobjectshowingaspectrumdominatedbythesecondarycomponent.ThespectrumstronglysuggeststhattheevolutionarypathofSDSSJ013701.06a€“091234.9isdifferentfromthatofordinaryCVs,andthisobjectisacandidateofEIPsc-likesystems.
