CygnusX-3(CygX-3)isawell-knownmicroquasarwithrelativisticjets.Itisespeciallyfamousforitsgiantradiooutbursts,whichhavebeenobservedonceeveryfewyearssincetheirfirstdiscovery.Eachgiantoutburstpresumablyconsistsofaseriesofshort-durationflares.Thephysicalparametersoftheflaresinthegiantoutburstsaredifficulttoderivebecausethesuccessiveflaresoverlap.Here,wereportonisolatedflaresinthequiescentphaseofCygX-3,asobservedat23,43,and86GHzwiththe45-mradiotelescopeatNobeyamaRadioObservatory.Theobservedflareshavesmallamplitude(0.5a€“2Jy)andshortduration(1a€“2hr).Themillimeterfluxesrapidlyincrease,andthenexponentiallydecay.Thelifetimeofthedecayisshorterathigherfrequency.TheradiospectrumofCygX-3duringtheflaresisflatorinvertedaroundthepeakfluxdensity.Afterthat,thespectrumgraduallybecomessteeper.Theobservedcharacteristicsareconsistentwiththoseofanadiabaticexpandingplasma.Thebrightnesstemperatureoftheplasmaatthepeakisestimatedtobe$$T_{ mB}$$$$gtrsim$$1$$ imes$$10$$^{11}$$K.Themagneticfieldintheplasmaiscalculatedtobe0.2$$lesssim$$$$H$$$$lesssim$$30G.
