Westudiedthetemperatureandabundancedistributionsoftheintra-clustermedium(ICM)intheAbell262clusterofgalaxiesobservedwithSuzaku.Abell262isabright,nearbypoorclusterwithanICMtemperatureof$$sim$$2keV,thusprovidingusefulinformationabouttheconnectionofICMpropertiesbetweengroupsandclustersofgalaxies.WiththeXISinstrument,wedirectlymeasurednotonlytheSi,S,andFelines,butalsotheOandMglines,andobtainedthoseabundancestoanouterregionof$$sim$$0.43$$r_{180}$$forthefirsttime.WefoundsteepgradientsforMg,Si,S,andFeabundances,whileOshowedanalmostflatabundancedistribution.Theabundanceratiosof$$alpha$$-elementstoFewerefoundtobesimilartothoseoftheotherclustersandgroups.WecalculatedthenumberratiooftypeIItotypeIasupernovaefortheICMenrichmenttobe3.0$$pm$$0.6within0.1$$r_{180}$$;thevaluewasconsistentwiththoseforotherclustersandgroups.Wealsocalculatedthemetalmass-to-lightratios(MLRs)forFe,O,andMgwith$$B$$-bandand$$K$$-bandluminositiesofthemembergalaxiesofAbell262.ThederivedMLRswerecomparabletothoseforotherclusterswith$$kT$$$$=$$3a€“4keV.
