WeexaminedtheVSNETlightcurveoftheERUMa-typestarV1159Ori.Wedetectedalargevariationofthesupercycle(theintervalbetweensuccessivesuperoutbursts)betweenextremesof44.6and53.3d.Theoutburstactivitywasalsofoundtodecreasewhenthesupercyclewaslong.Theobservedvariationofthesupercyclecorrespondstoavariationof$$sim40%$$ofthemass-transferratefromthesecondarystar,totallyunexpectedforthisclassofobjects.Wealsodetectedahintof$$sim1800,mathrm{d}$$periodicityinthevariation,whoseperiodisclosetowhathasbeensuggestedforsolar-typecyclesforcataclysmicvariables(CVs).Ifthisperiodicityiscausedbythemagneticactivityofthesecondarystar,thisdetectionconstitutesthefirstclearevidenceofcontinuingmagneticactivityinCVevolution,evenaftercrossingtheperiodgap.Thisactivitymaypartlyexplainstillpoorlyunderstoodoriginsofthehighmass-transferratesinERUMa-typestars.
