Wepresentphase-referencedmapsoftheSiOmasertransitions$$v=$$1$$J=$$1-0and$$v=$$2$$J=$$1-0fromthesymbioticstellarsystemRAquarii,whichhostsanevolvedAGBstarplusahotcompanion.Observationswereperformedattwoepochs:2004.98and2005.98.Accurateabsolutecoordinatesandpropermotionsoftheemissioncentroidwereobtained;theerrorsexpectedfortheseparametersarealsogiven.WecomparetheVERAdatawiththepreviousastrometrybyHipparcos.Thisrepresentsapossibilitytoimprovetheorbitalparametersofthesysteminadifferentwaythanthatdonebefore.Thankstoouraccurateastrometry,wehavealsoestimatedthepercentageofspotcoincidencesbetweenbothmasertransitions,aparameterthathasbeenproposedtoberelevanttodiscriminatebetweendifferentmaserpumpingschemes.Althoughtheoveralldistributionsofbothlinesarealwayssimilar,thespotsarerarelycoincident,inapercentagerangingbetween3%and20%ofthecases.Thelackofsystematiccoincidencefavors,inprinciple,radiativepumping.However,wearguethatnofirmconclusioncanbereachedduetoalackofmodelsthatincludeanoverlapofrovibrationallines,andthataccuratelyaddressthecoincidenceofveryintensespotsofdifferentmasertransitions.
